N'ice Chouffe 2005. N'Ice Chouffe, vintage dated Belgian barley wine is a deep dark winter warmer. It offers a rich malty taste, spicy [thyme] and fruity [dried grapes] aroma and a complex vinous fruity palate, which is complimented by malt overtones. The scene depicted on the bottle features a typical winter vista of the village of Achouffe with the chapel of St. Joseph and the brewery in the background. N'Ice Chouffe is brewed from local Ardennes spring water, malted barley, hops, thyme, vanilla, dried orange peel, dark candy sugar, Golding & Saaz hops.
