OUD BEERSEL OUDE KRIEK from Brouwerij Oud Beersel is a classic among Belgian beers. Created by adding whole fresh cherries to geuze (a blend of young and old lambic), which provides both seasoning and sparks another fermentation resulting in a product of astonishing complexity. It has the acidity of champagne, the bouquet and delicate flavor of cherries, and balance of almondy dryness. Oud Beersel Oude Kriek is the pink sparkling wine of the beer world.
